The importance of a school newspaper has always been clear to me as a student and later as an educator. I worked on my school newspaper in high school and went on to a career in journalism before I became a teacher. The name of our paper, Epic Voice, means we will speak to each other, respectfully stand our ground, make our points, and make a difference.
